We have SOD people!!! We did this post at the request of Aaron and Amy, but realized most everyone in our families haven't seen our new yard, so here it is!!!
It is so exciting to have grass when all you have looked at for 8 months is WEEDS!! So although it lacks color---it is a major improvement! We had the sprinkling system put in, and so we could just afford the basics! It is hard shelling out money for good dirt, and stuff buried in it! :) We ended up adding the two flowering pear trees in the front, three of them on the side, and a cute Japanese maple next to the front window! I am hoping that we don't have to wait until next year for more color, but if so, this is at least tolerable :)

Love it!!! I'm so jealous...I want grass...Hmph. By the way...our houses are pretty much the same color!!!!

Hooray for grass! That is SOO exciting! It makes a brown house look so much better when green is all around it! My house was the same way. I can't believe your hair all blown out... that is CRAZAY!!! I need a haircut so bad... you'll be hearing from me.
